• The ring band is approx 1.5 mm in thickness and 4.5 mm in width
** For reference 4.5mm is the just a little bit wider than about three 1 cent pennies stacked together
• Elegant yet simple these band are comfortable and beautiful
• Hand made in your choice of recycled 14 kt yellow, rose or white gold
• I bright cut the sun on the exterior of the band by hand with a wide angle high polished engraver. Bright cuts are my favorite! The design literally sparkles!!

I use very traditional methods to make this ring
I use half round gold wire that I very carefully measure, cut, shape and line up and weld together. Then I file any and sand the seem , until its smooth and polish or matte the ring.

• RING SIZING POLICY
A ring sizing is free but it counts as an exchange, except you have more time to decide to get it sized. You have to ship the ring back to me at your expense, but I will resize the ring and ship it back to you at my expense. I prefer you contact me within 3 months of purchase to initiate the sizing.
- To initiate a ring sizing simply send me an Etsy conversation and I will give you return shipping details and a time frame from when the ring arrives, typically a sizing takes me 3-5 business days.
Each ring order comes with a free ring sizing band. This can be used to determine a correct size for a resizing or size your other fingers, or gift it to a friend! Remember, it is a wide band so if you are ordering a ring with a very thin band say 1-1.5mm(like a stacking ring) you may want to have it be a quarter size smaller than the measured size.

You are responsible for the cost of mailing the item back to me, however, I will cover the cost of mailing the exchange and or sized ring back to you. I will notify you when the item has arrived at my shop and I will follow up with a shipping notification once the exchange and or ring sizing is complete.
What is 18kt white gold?
As you may have noticed I offer 14 and 18 kt white gold for my cast jewelry. I personally prefer 18 kt white gold because it is a little bit softer than 14k and more suitable for setting bezels however I have recently found a very suitable 14 kt white gold alloy for setting bezels. This is what the difference is:
18kt means the gold metal contains 75% gold
14kt means the gold contains about 58% gold
Palladium based white gold is also available for all my cast items upon request. Send me an Etsy conversation for a price.
Are my metals recycled?
Yes! Most of my metals with the exception of Platinum are 100% recycled
- 925 Sterling Silver - 100% USA recycled
- 935 Argentium Sterling Silver - 100% USA recycled
- 10, 14 or 18kt yellow gold - 100% USA recycled
- 14kt and 18kt white gold - 100% USA recycled
- Palladium based 14kt or 18kt white gold - 100% USA or Canada recycled
- 14 kt rose gold - 100% USA or Canada recycled
- Platinum - sort of, see below
100% Recycled means that the metal was refined from post consumer or from manufacturing scrap metal.
I will often recycle one more time from my scrap pile to make rose or yellow gold beads for rings or for ring re-sizing.

Ring Sizes
If you are uncertain about your ring size you can contact me and request a ring sizing band to verify your size. If you have already placed an order it is free, if not it is $3 and you do not have to return it.
If you have already placed an order please contact me as soon as possible as to not delay your items production time. Within the US it usually takes 3-5 business days to arrive so if you contact me right away it will likely arrive with enough time for me to make and ship the ring on time.

Is Platinum Recycled?
Sort of, a very small amount of it exists for use for jewelry/industrial and scientific applications. So platinum is certainly recycled for re-use ,however, the amount of heat and resources required to recycle and refine platinum for re-use is immense. So with that the answer is still sort of.
Where is my ready to ship jewelry?
Why don't I have very much ready to ship jewelry on Etsy?
